Here at AFTA Studios, we do a lot of different things.
We work across illustration, storytelling, publishing, and creative projects within women’s football. But if people know us for one thing, it is our women’s football merch.
That’s because merch gives fans something tangible. Something they can wear, carry, or keep with them. A tee, a scarf, a print, something on their keys. Small things, but meaningful ones. Ways to show support for the women’s game in everyday life, not just on matchdays.
For us, merch is where ideas become physical, and where connection with fans feels most direct.

Why Women’s Football Comes First

From Concept to Something Real
We never anticipated growing this fast.
What started as an idea we believed in has grown into a tangible business. That growth has come from a lot of work, and from people believing in us along the way.
We became officially licensed by Arsenal, creating first of its kind player specific women’s football merch, including Meado on the Wing with Beth Mead, launched with an in-store signing at The Armoury.
We have also created officially licensed England women’s football merchandise and Manchester City women’s football merchandise, stocked through stadium and online stores. These are just a few examples of the work we have delivered so far.
More than just merch
For us, this has always been more than just merch.
Women’s football merch is part of the wider evolution of women’s football and women’s sport. Working with us, or buying merch from us, supports the whole ecosystem around the game. It means we can keep going, keep creating, and keep pushing for better representation and better storytelling.
Every purchase shows clubs and brands that what we are doing is wanted by fans. When a club or brand chooses to collaborate with us or license our work, it shows fans that they are valued too.
All of it helps the overall growth of the game.
